Construction on the expansion of Avril-Bleh Meat Market, along with the creation of 14 condo units, is underway. It will remain open in its current location during construction, with a goal of opening its expanded space in early 2022. Structural work on the floors above has started with framing of each residential unit.
THE STANLEY & MOORE FLATS
Construction on the residential portion of The Stanley, located at 915-917 Vine Street, is complete and the units went on the market in October with one unit sold. Residential units at Moore Flats, located at 7-11 Court Street, are wrapping up and will go on the market in early November. The new commercial storefronts at Moore Flats are expected to wrap up construction in January.
Elevator installation and core building inspections are complete at The Foundry. Work on the streetscape along Race Street is underway, with work on the Vine Street side scheduled to begin in the coming weeks. Work on the lobby, including furniture and wooden wall installation, will also begin in November.
At Gosling Flats, the building at 26 W. 15th Street is complete and four residential units have been sold. The remaining are for sale, and two commercial spaces are available for lease. The building at 1508 Race Street is in the final stage of construction. Units are expected to hit the market in early November, with final paint ongoing and finishes being installed throughout.
Construction on the commercial spaces at Keyer Row is progressing, and appliances have been installed throughout. Electrical inspections have started and LEED blower tests will occur at the beginning of November.
Construction on a total of 11 buildings—10 historic rehabs and one new construction infill—has been completed since the Willkommen project started last year. Storefront installation is in progress at two buildings, with mechanical, electrical and plumbing work underway at two others. Final punch list repairs are ongoing at three buildings and the final two are undergoing exterior façade or interior drywall work.
