November 2021 Updates


At Avril Lofts, construction on Avril Bleh’s expanded commercial space is progressing nicely. Meanwhile, in the residential units on the upper floors, drywall has been hung and the remaining rough-in work is underway. Earlier this month, exterior painting was completed.


Office furniture is being installed in Deloitte’s suite at The Foundry. Walls are being framed for Turner’s suite, and both restaurant tenants are awaiting various permits. Interior work on the core shell is complete, and the streetscape work along Race and 5th streets is complete, with similar work underway along Vine Street.


Work on Gosling Flats is wrapping up, as both commercial spaces at 26 W. 15th Street are currently available for lease. Additionally, the building at 1508 Race Street has been completed and all 11 residential units, spread across both buildings, have either been sold or are under contract.


Half of the residential units at Keyer Row will be ready for occupancy by the end of December. The rest will receive finishing work in the coming months. The first commercial space will wrap up in the coming weeks with punch list repairs underway, and sidewalk access will be restored next week.


Several buildings that make up the Willkommen project are officially complete. The buildings at the sites along Liberty, Moore and Walnut streets, as well as on Woodward Street are entirely completed, while work on a few buildings remain at the others. At the largest site on Liberty, Race and Pleasant streets, flooring installation is underway at both Alabama Fish Bar and the residential units above, with work wrapping up on 124-128 W Liberty Street next month. At the buildings on Vine and Republic streets, window installation is nearly finished at 1512 Republic Street and façade brickwork at 1521 Vine Street wrapped up in November.
