June 2021 Updates

4TH & RACE

Exterior work at 4th & Race is nearing completion, with spot tile work wrapping up on the façade. Roofing work and the rooftop lounge is complete, as is all streetscape work and the sidewalks that surround the building. Minor detail work is underway in the residential units and the building is expected to be completed at the end of July. Residential units can be viewed here.

COURT STREET PLAZA

Final planters were installed and streetlights along Court Street began operating in early June to finalize construction on the Court Street Plaza. A celebratory opening weekend was held June 12-13 with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, mural unveiling and live music. Vendors sold goods and a classic car cruise-in took place for visitors to check out.

THE STANLEY & MOORE FLATS

At the Court Street South Condos, exterior painting has been completed at 915 Vine Street and drywall is being hung on the first floor. At 7-11 Court Street, windows have been installed, and drywall is being hung on the second floor.

THE FOUNDRY

Installation of the new glass façade has started at The Foundry. Levels 1 and 2 along Vine Street have been completed and work is underway on Fifth Street. Work on the façade will continue clockwise around the building. Streetscape demolition has been completed and work on the new streetscape will begin in late July. Roofing has been completed on Level 4, as well as the skywalk. Work on the main roof will begin in the coming weeks.

GOSLING FLATS

At Gosling Flats, work on the hardwood floors is wrapping up at 1508 Race Street, and tilework has started at the site. Carpentry work is finishing up at 26 W. 15th Street, and backsplashes and countertop installation will begin next week.

KEYER ROW

Chimney repairs were completed in June at Keyer Row. Cabinets, ceiling fan and flooring installation is underway at the project, and mechanical, electrical and plumbing work is ongoing.

PERSEVERANCE

Construction on Perseverance was completed in early June, and a ribbon-cutting ceremony was held to celebrate the completion of the project, which yielded 32 apartment units (100% affordable to those making 30-60% of the Area Median Income) and 6,700 square feet of street-level commercial space.

WILLKOMMEN

Exterior repairs and painting on the historic Willkommen buildings are nearing completion. On the interior, several buildings are working through minor repairs and will be complete in the next few weeks. Brick veneer installation is finished at 213 Woodward, a new construction commercial building, while brick veneers are now being installed at 1602 Pleasant and 1521 Vine streets. Framing is soon to start at 1512 Republic Street.
