MEET THE TEAM
Caitlin Felvus joined 3CDC in 2018 as the organization’s Development Counsel. In early 2022, she was promoted to Legal Director, and became the Chief Legal Officer and VP of Human Resources in 2024. In this role, Felvus manages legal work for the organization and is responsible for providing the necessary support and benefits to help staff remain healthy physically, mentally, and financially and ensure they have a positive work-life balance, whether working in the office or the field.
Prior to joining 3CDC, Felvus worked as an attorney at the Cincinnati office of Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP. She also volunteers as a legal advisory to the UC Law small business clinic.
Felvus received a Bachelor of Science in journalism, summa cum laude, from Ohio University E.W. Scripps School of Journalism, and earned her juris doctorate, magna cum laude and Order of the Coif, from the University of Cincinnati College of Law, where she was the editor of the inaugural UC Law Review Blog. Before law school, Felvus spent time working on Capitol Hill in both senatorial and congressional offices.
Alice Rolfes joined 3CDC in 2006. In her current role as Employee Benefits Director, she is responsible for overseeing payroll, benefits administration, compliance, and IT infrastructure.
Rolfes holds a PHR certification from the Human Resource Certification Institute and a SHRM-CP certification from the Society of Human Resource Management. Rolfes earned her BA in Psychology from Northern Kentucky University.
Addison Shedd joined 3CDC in 2016, serving in different roles on the Civic Space Activation team before joining the Human Resources team in 2022. In her current role as Recruiting & Talent Management Director, Shedd oversees hiring, retention and professional development for the organization.
Prior to joining 3CDC, Shedd worked at Miami University in various event management roles.
Shedd earned a bachelor's degree in Anthropology and French from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
Daniel Lancaster joined 3CDC in 2021 as the Site Supervisor for Memorial Hall. In his current role as senior recruiter for the organization, he provides recruitment for all positions in the organization. Lancaster also supports additional Human Resource efforts including training, communications, employee engagement, employee relations, and administrative tasks.
Prior to joining the organization, he was an informal educator and entertainer at the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago. Lancaster has lived in Austin, Denver, Chicago, and Granada, Spain, and he is thrilled to add Cincinnati to the list!
Daniel earned a B.A. in Theatre from Metropolitan State University of Denver and recently received his SHRM-CP certification.
