LACKMAN LOFTS
Completed Project
The Lackman Lofts building, located at 1237 Vine Street, was built by turn-of-the-century brewer Herman Lackman, as both an investment and home to the first-floor saloon that served up only Lackman brand beer. Lackman Brewery was absorbed by Hudepohl Brewing Company in the 1930s. The seven renovated condos in this historic building are well-lit by the enormous floor-to-ceiling bay windows and cantilevered decks that overlook historic Over-the-Rhine, Liberty Hill, Washington Park and the beautiful rose window of Music Hall. These lofts feature exposed brick and ductwork, hardwood floors, granite counter tops, travertine tile, custom shelving and vent free gas fireplaces framed by original mantelpieces. They also include beautiful Rookwood tile back splashes in the kitchen and on many of the fireplaces. The Lackman Bar, by Four Entertainment Group (4EG), occupies the street-level commercial space within Lackman Lofts.
