The Abington Race & Pleasant project, which is spread across several sites, is progressing nicely. The 1523-1527 and 1529-1531 Race Street properties are currently undergoing drywall, hardwood flooring, and kitchen cabinetry installation on the upper residential floors. In addition, all exterior windows have been replaced, and the east-facing front facades are being scraped in preparation for fresh paint. The first-floor commercial spaces are also being drywalled, and hardwood flooring installation is underway. At the 1533-1535 Race Street property, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing rough-ins are almost completely installed. The storefronts have been demolished and new curbs have been poured. Lastly, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing rough-ins are complete at 33 Green Street, and drywall installation will begin soon. New windows have been installed on all three upper floors. On the first floor, the old storefront has been removed, new curbs have been poured, and the new wooden storefront is being installed.
