The ceremonial – and, coincidentally, the actual – groundbreaking for Ziegler Park was held on February 17, and was well attended by members of City Council and staff, project sponsors, and neighborhood residents. Demolition of the existing playfield that is adjacent to the former SCPA building is now in full-swing, with crews working on the excavation of the future below-grade parking garage.
