The Duke Energy Convention Center remains in schematic design for both the building renovations and the two-acre park and outdoor convention space. The design and construction team completed exploratory work to assess the state of the building’s existing mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and roof systems to further understand the scope of needed repairs. These findings will be incorporated into the schematic design drawings. Upon completion, the construction management team will price the schematic design drawings to provide an updated estimate of renovation costs.
