The new flagship Jeff Ruby’s Steakhouse is nearing completion and final touches are being made throughout the space. Inside, it is filled with decadent chandeliers, decorative wallpapers, and lush furniture and outside, it has come to life with the installation of an awning, marquee, signage, cigar bar, and lions that flank the entrance. The Jeff Ruby’s location on Walnut Street has officially closed its doors in preparation to move to its new location at The Foundry. The new restaurant is scheduled to open its doors on Saturday, Oct. 8.
Elsewhere in the building, Turner Construction has been hard at work on the new office space for Divisions Maintenance Group on the second and third floors. Demo and general prep work is complete throughout, as well as the wall layout and framing. Structural steel work, elevator repairs, monumental stair work and millwork are underway.
Construction has continued at the future home of Five Iron Golf, with lots of progress in the last month. Overhead plumbing and fire protection work recently wrapped up, while overhead mechanical and electrical work are now underway. The new entry door from the Fifth Street sidewalk has been installed, with the ramp, steps and handrail to follow in October. In-wall electrical and plumbing work is complete as well.
