Triversity Construction continues to make progress on both buildings that will comprise City Gospel Mission’s new campus. This past month the footings and foundations were poured to complete the building slab on grade. The parking lot has been graded and the construction team is preparing to work on the underground retention system, as well as running site utilities to the building.
The Women’s Drop Inn Center facility has started taking shape. The mason has been onsite for several weeks laying the block that will support the structure for the facility. A Construction Kickoff event is scheduled for September 19th at 10 am.
Concrete construction is now complete. Construction of the Mechanical, electrical and plumbing installations continue on all finished site levels – both above and below grade. Construction of the parking garage elevators has continued below and above grade up to level five. Setting of the building façade panels has reached level nine, while exterior glazing for the façade and installation of wire mesh is still ongoing. Construction of the storefront on the south side of the building along Fifth Street is underway. Work on the interior of the building has continued, including the hanging of drywall on level one and the installation of waterproofing on the lower levels.
Construction on 1201 Walnut Street, the future home of 3CDC’s new office, remains ongoing. It was recently announced that one of the commercial spaces on the ground floor will be occupied by the new restaurant/bar concept from 4EG and the Lachey brothers. Construction will be complete in late fall 2014.
