October 2018 Project Updates

At Beecher Flats, both interior paint and cabinet installation are now complete. Storefront installation is also underway, as well as electrical, plumbing and HVAC fixture install. Crews are also installing the countertops and interior trim.

At Rennen, exterior brick work is complete, with the exception of minor touch-ups that need to be made. Inside the building, the flooring, bathroom tile and cabinets have been installed. Interior trim work and painting continue.

The project team is working hard to close on financing in the next few weeks. Construction is expected to begin in early December, with a 7.5-month construction schedule, wrapping up in July of next year.

Construction has officially begun at Elm Industries with Megen Construction managing the renovation. Structural steel will begin arriving on site in the next few weeks and crews will start interior structural framing work.

Work throughout the building continues at the Court & Walnut project site. Tile and exterior metal framing have been installed along the building’s south elevation, while exterior tile work continues along the north and west elevations. The cooler, walk-in refrigerator and spray insulation have been installed in the Kroger space, as overhead MEP work continues. Crews have also begun installing the sprinkler pipes and in-wall MEP in the space. CMU block infill is underway for the elevator, as controls are being installed in the elevator control rooms. Over the next few weeks, elevators will be delivered and installation will begin. Lastly, the building is expected to obtain permanent power in the coming days.
