THE ANNIE

Construction is progressing nicely at The Annie. At 218 W 12th Street, the installation of flooring, tile, and cabinetry is complete while finish carpentry work is ongoing. At 216 W 12th Street, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) work is finished while drywall, painting, and tilework continue. Both buildings are currently on track to be completed by Spring 2024.

CONVENTION HEADQUARTERS HOTEL

3CDC is working with Portman Holdings to advance the schematic design for the future Convention Headquarters Hotel. Additionally, 3CDC is awaiting an announcement on the Transformational Mixed-Use Development Tax Credit awards. If received, the award would provide a $40 million tax credit to be used toward gap financing for the project.

DUKE ENERGY CONVENTION CENTER

Schematic design work for the renovation of the Duke Energy Convention Center is complete and schematic design work for the new park being built on the former Millenium Hotel site will be finalized in the coming weeks. Additionally, the design team received approval to move on to the next phase of design.

Following a request for proposals, a local firm, TJ Dyer, Inc., was selected to serve as the Design-Assist Contractor for the building’s mechanical and plumbing systems. Another local firm, ESI, was also selected to serve as the Design-Assist Contractor for the building’s electrical systems.

Lastly, 3CDC followed up with minority- and women-owned subcontractors, as well as Union subcontractors, to develop a schedule for meeting with any group interested in learning more about the project to determine potential opportunities for collaboration.

FINDLAY COMMUNITY CENTER

Since receiving community feedback in the fall, design for the community center and park spaces has continued to make progress. Now, the team is focused on design details and how both spaces can best support ongoing programming by making use of the playgrounds, courts and fields, pool, roller rink, gymnasium, and multipurpose rooms.
