4TH & RACE

Crews at 4th & Race have poured new sidewalks on 4th Street. Sidewalk trees and signage will be installed in the coming weeks, and the midblock section of the sidewalk will then open to the public. The portion of 4th Street nearest Race Street will remain off limits to the public while crews complete the remaining exterior façade work in that area.

ACADEMY LOFTS

Academy Lofts received its certificate of occupancy and all 10 units were listed for sale on March 19. Within three days, four of the units were under contract and as of April 1, there are just four units available.

COURT STREET PLAZA

As crews work to complete the Court Street Plaza by spring, the roadway remained shut down to through traffic over the course of the month, but the northern sidewalk and westbound traffic lane reopened at the end of March. Road demolition has started along the southeast stretch of the street, and paver installation is ongoing. New streetcar poles have been installed and cables were re-tensioned in mid-March.

THE STANLEY & MOORE FLATS

Crews continue to make progress on the Court Street South Condos, located at 915 Vine and 7-11 E. Court streets. Structural improvements are wrapping up on both buildings, and crews have begun to frame the walls and rough-in mechanical systems. The Vine Street building is on schedule to be complete in July, with the Court Street building following in November. Combined, they will yield 16 new condo units and 3,700 square feet of street-level commercial space.

THE FOUNDRY

The new Fifth Third LED board and sign at the top of The Foundry has been installed and is now in operation. Interior work has kicked off, with core and shell sprinkler piping, electrical conduit and ductwork underway. Roofing work will start in April, as will continuation of mechanical, electrical and plumbing work.

GOSLING FLATS

At Gosling Flats, window installation has been completed on both buildings. Drywall has been hung on the first and second floors and drywall finishing has started. Interior painting and work on tile flooring will begin soon. Plumbing is complete at 1508 Race Street and window installation is underway.

KEYER ROW

Keyer Row is under construction with Urban Sites Construction serving as construction manager on the project. Duke is wrapping up work in the street while masonry crews complete structural improvements around the buildings’ exteriors. Paint colors have been selected and will begin to be applied to the buildings as weather permits.

PERSEVERANCE

Several buildings that comprise the Perseverance project have been completed, while others are finishing up. Cabinetry, flooring and façade work is ongoing at 1505 Vine Street, while it’s nearing completion at 1517 Vine Street. Work at 1511 and 1513-1515 Vine Street has been completed.

WILLKOMMEN

Flooring, drywall and trim work is underway in the historic buildings that make up the Willkommen project. Exterior work is ongoing at 1445 Walnut, 1600, 1601 and 1606 Race Street, as well as 124-128 W Liberty Street. Stairwell and elevator towers have been completed at 1602 Pleasant and 1521 Vine streets.
