At the 4th and Race project, crews are making steady work on the project’s foundation. The first tower crane has been erected and all auger cast piles have been installed. Crews continue installing pile caps and grade beams throughout the site, and foundation concrete work is almost complete for the East area of the site near Race Street. In the coming weeks, a stormwater detention tank will be installed, underground electrical and plumbing work will begin, and the pits for elevators six and seven will be excavated. Crews at the Behlen project continue working on structural repairs for the building and have begun work on new structural openings for the stair and elevator shafts. The concrete flooring for the first floor has also been installed.
At the Columbia renovation, crews continue mechanical, electrical, and plumbing rough-ins and drywall installation has started. Additionally, crews have begun working on the roof of the building.
Construction for the Court & Walnut project has moved to the upper levels. The floor slab for the 18th, and final, floor has been poured and walls are being framed and paneling has begun on the rest. A wall and door are being installed in the elevator lobbies, and the roof slab is expected to be complete sometime next month. Crews are currently working on the framing and mechanical rough-ins for the Court Street Condos project and will finish façade work in the coming weeks. Windows are also being installed and crews have begun to drywall the interior of the building.
The first floor is coming along nicely at Elm Industries as crews work to pour the new concrete floor and complete under slab plumbing. For the office spaces on floors 2-4, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing rough-ins are underway, and construction for the new elevator shaft has begun.
The Meiners Building has made some advancements this month as crews are installing drywall on floors two through five and preparing to begin exterior roof and cornice work.
At Rennen & Beecher Flats, a driveway gate has been installed and landscaping work continues. Various units are available for sale, and three street-level commercial spaces are now leasing.
