Construction at Court & Walnut is progressing nicely, with work now underway on the building’s second floor. Crews recently completed underground MEP installation, while MEP rough-ins continue in the basement. The first-floor elevated deck, as well as the deck above the first floor, are complete, and pile caps and grade beams are being poured. Forming and pouring for the first-floor columns and walls also continues. Crews are currently in the process of shoring and forming for the second-floor elevated deck, and the first concrete pour for the second floor was recently completed. Steel has been set for both Rennen and Beecher Flats, and underground utilities are being roughed-in. Several pours of slab-on-grade have been made in Beecher Flats, primarily at the stairs, entrance ways, and in first-floor residential units. Interior framing work is complete at 1505 Race – the historic structure that is being integrated into Rennen – while framing work continues at Beecher Flats. Utility work will continue for the next few weeks, as well.
Construction is wrapping up at 15th & Vine, and the leasing team hopes to announce an office tenant in the coming months. To celebrate the project’s completion, a ribbon cutting ceremony is scheduled for Thursday, Apr. 12 at 10 AM to allow those interested a first look at the finished building. Jeremy and Bridget Lieb’s new restaurant, Sacred Beast, which is located in one of the street-level commercial spaces, will celebrate its grand opening the same day.
