DUKE ENERGY CONVENTION CENTER
Currently, the design team is progressing the schematic design for the building’s renovation and working on master planning concepts for the new public park on the opposite side of Elm Street at the old Millennium Hotel site. Simultaneously, the construction Team is working to assess the existing electrical and plumbing systems. The team is also continuing to work through the potential financing package for the renovation.
CONVENTION HEADQUARTERS HOTEL
The project team is preparing an application for the Ohio Development of Development’s Transformational Mixed-Use Development (TMUD) Program, which is a critical piece to closing the financing gap for the construction of the new hotel. The team is continuing to evaluating potential funding options to ensure the project is financially feasible.
FINDLAY COMMUNITY CENTER
A new concept design is being developed that includes a roller rink and childcare facility in the new community center. In the coming months, the design process will resume for Grant Park and engagement sessions will be held seeking community input on design details. THE FOUNDRY
Divisions Maintenance Group (DMG) officially relocated to its new headquarters and the Class A office space at The Foundry is now fully leased and occupied.
ZIEGLER PARK
A ribbon cutting ceremony took place on June 13 to celebrate the completion of the expanded park. Public art installations are underway, led by Black Art Speaks. This includes several murals, a sculpture, and designed utility box wraps. Currently, you can check out progress on a sidewalk mural near Yukon St and a mural on 1318 Main.
THE ANNIE
Rough framing work continues at The Annie, as well as HVAC, electrical, and plumbing rough-ins. Stabilization activities are nearly complete.
AUGUST FLATS
A Certificate of Occupancy has been received for 1701 Race Street, with the Certificates of Occupancy for 1703 and 1705 Race Street expected in the coming days. Those interested in leasing an apartment in the 15-unit building should contact info@UrbanSites.com to be added to the wait list.
ADELINE LOFTS & WEBSTER FLATS
Located at 1338 Main Street, Webster Flats is now complete and property manager, Urban Sites, is actively accepting applications for the 11-unit structure. Prospective tenants should visit the Urban Sites website to review listings of available units.
Adeline Lofts, located at 1401 Main Street, now has permanent power. Final inspections for its Certificate of Occupancy are taking place in the coming days. Pre-leasing for the 12 available units is live! Visit the Urban Sites website for additional information.
