August 2016 Project Update

ZIEGLER PARK

The new underground parking garage at Ziegler Park has truly started to take shape the past month. Crews have started pouring concrete to form both exterior walls and interior columns for the garage. Meanwhile, across the street in the pool area, excavation work is underway for new underground mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems. For more information on the progress being made, subscribe to our regular Ziegler Park project updates, or read through past updates in our archive.

MUSIC HALL

Crews have stayed hard at work on the renovation of Music Hall this past month, as they continue to make changes and improvements to every area of the hallowed hall. Read our weekly project updates to learn more about the specific work taking place, and subscribe to receive the updates directly in your Inbox each Friday.

MEMORIAL HALL

Memorial Hall continues to move closer to its scheduled completion later this year. Inside the building, HVAC ductwork has continued to be installed, and decorative painting and restoration work has continued. Masonry repair is simultaneously ongoing on the structure’s exterior. THE ALLISON

The construction of the Race Street Condos, which is a portion of the 15th & Race project, has continued at a good pace. The glass storefronts for the street-level commercial spaces have been installed, and the brick façade is nearly complete. Meanwhile, crews have started hanging drywall inside.

4TH & RACE

Cincinnati’s Urban Design Review Board officially approved the design plans for the 4th & Race project late last month. With the design now approved, the project can move forward as planned. Crews are scheduled to start demolishing the site’s current garage later this month, a process that is expected to last several months.
