A variety of work is underway at Avril Lofts. Tile is being installed in the fourth-floor condos, while walls are being painted in the third-floor condo units. On the second floor, framing is officially complete and ready for drywall. The building will receive permanent power in the next few weeks and HVAC systems will be turned on, allowing wood floors to be installed. Structural stabilization of the first-floor Avril Bleh market space is complete and ready for drywall and a new walk-in freezer and grease duct.
At The Foundry, the second office tenant, Turner Construction, is preparing to move into its new space. At the street level, the buildouts for Royce and Jeff Ruby’s Steakhouse continue. In the Royce space, flooring has been installed as millwork and painting continue. The installation of kitchen equipment is also ongoing. In the Jeff Ruby’s space, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing installation is underway.
With only the new build at 1521 Republic Street remaining under construction, the Willkommen project is nearly complete. Leasing signage has officially been installed at the new building at 1521 Vine Street, as 3CDC looks for tenants to fill the street-level commercial spaces. The majority of residential units lack only finishing touches.
