April 2021 Updates

4TH & RACE

At the 4th and Race project, most of the 4th Street sidewalk is now open to pedestrians. Trees have been installed along Race, Elm and 4th streets. Installation of flooring, cabinetry and other fixtures continues throughout the residential units.

COURT STREET PLAZA

The northern portion of Court Street Plaza is now complete, and two-way traffic opened at the end of April. Construction crews will be working on the southern portion of the project until it wraps up in the coming weeks.

THE STANLEY & MOORE FLATS

Interior framing, mechanical, electrical and plumbing work, as well as drywall installation, is underway at both buildings that make up Court Street South Condos, with storefront preparation work underway. 915 Vine Street will be complete this summer, with 7-11 E Court Street finishing up in fall. The buildings will yield 16 condo units and three street-level commercial spaces.

THE FOUNDRY

Mechanical, electrical and plumbing work is ongoing throughout the shell of The Foundry. Steel installation for slab infills from existing escalator pits and openings is underway, and concrete for infills on the roof is wrapping up to allow the start of roofing installation, which will begin in May.

GOSLING FLATS

Construction on Gosling Flats continues, and crews are still on track to finish work by July. Window installation is complete and drywall is in progress at 1508 Race Street. At 24-26 W. 15th Street, the new storefront has been installed and drywall is complete, with crews focusing on wood and tile flooring in the coming weeks.

KEYER ROW

At Keyer Row, major structural stabilization work is complete in two-thirds of the project, with efforts ongoing in the northern building. Drywall, mechanical, electrical and plumbing work is underway in the southern building, and framing work is the focus for the buildings in between. Exterior painting will begin in the upcoming weeks, bringing a fresh new look to Main Street.

PERSEVERANCE

The spaces at 1511, 1513-1515 Vine Street that are part of the Perseverance project are complete. The commercial storefront at 1505 Vine Street has been installed with sign installation underway. Finishing touches are ongoing at both 1505 and 1517 Vine Street, and the project is expected to wrap up in the coming weeks.

WILLKOMMEN

Interior and exterior paint is underway at all of the historic buildings in the Willkommen project. Finishes including flooring, cabinets, and fixtures are being installed as well. Several buildings will be complete in May and are working through final repairs. Framing is ongoing at three of the four new construction buildings. The fourth building is nearing completion of its stair and elevator towers.
