Vintage on Race Slated to Open Early Next Year

CINCINNATI (October 11, 2023) – The hospitality management company behind Downtown Cincinnati’s Baru and the Voices of America Country Music Festival in West Chester, Further Concepts and Investors, recently shared renderings of its upcoming sports and entertainment concept. Vintage on Race is slated to open early next year in an 8,000-square-foot street-level space located at 500 Race Street in Cincinnati Center City Development Corp. (3CDC)’s mixed-use Foundry development.

With the luxury of an athletics club, but the warmth of a family bar, Vintage will aim to be a place for both community and play. Walking the line between upscale and comfortable, it will be a space to meet old friends, celebrate with coworkers, take in a game, or spend a night on the town.

“We wanted Vintage to be a place you could lounge, observe and unwind,” said Tyler Wogenstahl, Owner of Further Concepts and Investors. “As you can see in the renderings, there’s plenty of comfortable seating perfect for kicking back to watch a game, socializing with friends, or taking in some live music with a drink in hand. It’s exciting to have designed a space that will bring this type of energy and entertainment back to an area so rich with Cincinnati history.”

Carefully chosen, the color palette used throughout the space will balance warmth and vibrancy with a nostalgic flair. From hues of gold and copper orange to magenta and deep blues, the colors come together, giving off groovy, retro vibes.

“Having recently worked with Tyler to open Baru, we were eager to work with him again on a totally different concept that would be a huge contributor to further activating this area of Downtown Cincinnati,” said Lindzie Gunnels, Commercial Leasing Manager with 3CDC. “It’s so exciting to see his vision come to life.”

The new space is currently under construction, but Wogenstahl hopes to celebrate the grand opening of Vintage on Race early next year. Thunderdome Restaurant Group’s new American brasserie, The Davidson, is also slated to open in the coming months, bringing the leased ground-floor space at the Foundry to 81%. 3CDC is in conversations with potential tenants for the balance of the remaining space.
