Well-Known Pendleton Spa Relocating to 3CDC Space
CINCINNATI (November 13, 2025) – Originally opened in Pendleton, Omega Beauty recently signed a lease for a 2,600-square-foot portion of the building at 212 W. 12th Street in Over-the-Rhine (OTR). The new space, part of The Annie — a redevelopment project involving the renovation of four historic buildings near Washington Park — is being leased from Cincinnati Center City Development Corp. (3CDC). Once the buildout is complete, Omega Beauty will relocate from its current Broadway storefront.
Founded by esthetician Michele Silvers in 2019, Omega Beauty began as a spa specializing exclusively in permanent makeup services. At its inception, Silvers employed just two staff members, yet the business maintained steady momentum. Remarkably, Omega Beauty experienced growth during the pandemic — a rarity among small businesses — though that expansion would pale in comparison to the significant progress that followed.
“In the summer of 2024, we started offering a Japanese Head Spa service, which includes scalp massage and deep relaxation treatments, and Omega Beauty went viral,” Silvers said. “We posted a video to Tik Tok and got an overwhelming response. It was more than our 3-person team could handle, but we did it. I had to outsource scheduling just to manage it all.”
The first to bring the Japanese Head Spa service to Cincinnati, Silvers’ business experienced explosive growth in 2024 – and to meet demand, she added 30 new employees to her team. Since then, the spa has begun offering an expanded range of services, as well. In addition to permanent makeup and the Japanese Head Spa, they now offer facials, spray tans, lash extensions, liquid microneedling and more.
Omega Beauty has outgrown its current space in Pendleton, making it increasingly challenging to meet rising demand — reflected in a steadily growing waitlist. The new location in The Annie offers more than twice the square footage, enabling the spa to operate more efficiently, accommodate more clients in less time, and expand its team.
“The Over-the-Rhine location is an ideal fit for Omega Beauty, providing Michele with the space needed to meet growing demand while fostering deeper connections with her expanding clientele,” said Christy Samad, EVP of Civic and Commercial Space Activation at 3CDC. “The Annie is a historic building with so much character – an ideal space for a spa like Omega Beauty that can lean into the beautiful details while attracting new customers and complementing nearby businesses.”
Silvers is working with Team B Architecture & Design on the buildout of the space. Upon completion, which is currently slated for spring, the spa will invite visitors to step out of the noise of the city and into an environment of intentional contrast – where materiality, light, and atmosphere shift dramatically to support relaxation, presence, and care. Although clients may arrive feeling physically tense or mentally overstimulated, the space is being designed to shift them toward softness, quiet, and breath. Every contrast – visual, tactile, and auditory – will be an invitation to turn inward during a clients’ time at the resort-style spa. The new space will feature four dedicated head spa stations that will be fully private with the option to convert to a communal space, easily accommodating groups of up to 6 at a time.
