OTR Wine & Jazz Lounge Announces Vine Street Expansion

Nostalgia Unveils Plans for Listening Room and Enhanced Guest Experience

CINCINNATI (July 16, 2026) – Originally opened in 2020 at 1432 Vine Street, Nostalgia Wine & Jazz Lounge has signed a lease to expand into the neighboring spaces at 1428 and 1430 Vine Street in Cincinnati Center City Development Corp. (3CDC)’s Behlen building. Owner Tammie Scott is leasing all three spaces from 3CDC, more than doubling Nostalgia’s footprint from 1,650 square feet to 3,653 square feet.

Inspired by Cincinnati’s rich musical heritage and iconic gathering places of the past like the West End’s Cotton Club, Nostalgia is an intimate, Black- and woman-owned wine and jazz lounge that blends culture, community and live entertainment. The venue offers a curated selection of 40 wines with an emphasis on women- and minority-owned wineries and producers, alongside traditional and contemporary jazz and soul performances several nights each week. Available for private events, Nostalgia has become a destination for music lovers and wine enthusiasts alike. The expansion will introduce a catering kitchen, additional patio seating, and a dedicated listening room, aptly named ‘The B-Side,’ creating new opportunities for programming and enhanced guest experiences.

Scott says opening amid the pandemic ultimately benefited the business, giving her the opportunity to launch thoughtfully, learn as she went and refine the concept over time. Still, she attributes Nostalgia’s success first and foremost to the unwavering support of the community.

“Music is a universal language that brings people together across generations and backgrounds,” said owner Tammie Scott. “During the pandemic, it was one of the few things that connected us, and people kept coming back for that sense of community. Over the years, we’ve built a loyal following — not just because of the music, but because of the atmosphere and the people. We’ve had the same staff since day one, and our guests appreciate seeing familiar faces at the door and behind the bar. They know they’ll hear music they love and be welcomed by people who know them.”

The B-Side — a nod to the often-overlooked side of a vinyl record where hidden gems are found — will function as both a dedicated listening room and private event venue. Designed as a place to connect and discover music, the space will host artist listening parties, intimate performances and community gatherings where guests can share and enjoy the music they love. Just as importantly, The B-Side will provide a separate, yet seamlessly connected, event space that allows private functions and special programming to take place without disrupting the lounge’s regular operations.

The expansion will also include a catering kitchen, enabling Nostalgia to introduce flatbreads and other small bites while continuing to welcome food from neighboring restaurants like Soul Secrets for private events. In addition, expanded patio space will better accommodate the lounge’s loyal community of cigar enthusiasts, while the end storefront will be transformed into a pool lounge that can also host private events.

Scott is partnering with Luminaut on the design and buildout of the expanded space, with each area offering its own distinct character. While the existing lounge draws inspiration from the 1950s and 1960s, The B-Side will celebrate vinyl culture with design elements and aesthetics reminiscent of the 1970s and 1980s. Construction on the interior expansion is expected to be completed in early 2027, while the expanded patio is anticipated to open sooner, giving guests an early glimpse of Nostalgia’s next chapter.
