New Boutique Floral Studio Blooming on Vine Street

DH Floral Atelier Brings Custom Designs to The Fountain District

CINCINNATI (February 2, 2026) – After years of honing his creative eye while designing and installing window displays for some of the nation’s most notable brands, Neil Rushnock recently signed a four-year lease to bring his passion for floral design to Cincinnati. Located at 615 Vine Street in the heart of the Fountain District, the boutique floral studio will occupy a 1,340-square-foot storefront master leased by Cincinnati Center City Development Corp. (3CDC).

DH Floral Atelier is set to open its doors today, offering custom floral arrangements, bouquets, tablescape accents, and other festive gifts designed for any occasion. The studio takes its name from Rushnock’s grandmothers, Dorothy Jean and Helen — women whose creativity, hospitality, and signature sense of style profoundly shaped his artistic vision. Inspired by their influence, Rushnock set out to find the perfect place to open his shop – one that would serve as a space where he could channel his creativity to make the everyday feel a little more special, thoughtful, and fun.

“When I moved to Cincinnati, I often visited the Aronoff and parked at 600 Vine,” Rushnock said. “I admired this space every single time I walked by it and always imagined turning it into a flower shop. From the art deco lobby to the gold‑plated elevator, it felt meant to be —and when I saw it listed as available on 3CDC’s website, I knew the moment had finally arrived.”

To celebrate DH Floral Atelier’s grand opening – and to help spread the word about his brand-new floral shop – Rushnock plans to spend the day handing out roses to neighboring businesses and members of the community. With Valentine’s Day right around the corner, customers are encouraged to stop in for ready-made arrangements or place orders online for custom requests. Delivery is available within a 15-mile radius of the store, and same-day delivery is available for orders placed before noon.

“Cincinnati has become a growing hub for events of all kinds — from corporate gatherings and intimate parties to weddings and large‑scale celebrations,” said Christy Samad, EVP of Civic & Commercial Space Activation for 3CDC. “Floral design is a highly sought‑after service downtown, and the Vine Street location places DH Floral Atelier right in the heart of the Fountain District, where demand is strongest.”

DH Floral Atelier will open today at 8:30 AM and everyone is invited to pop by and check out the new space. Following the grand opening, regular business hours will be:

  • Monday thru Friday: 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM
  • Saturday: 10 AM – 2 PM
  • Sunday: CLOSED
