Lang Thang Group Announces Major Rebrand and Relocation of Beloved OTR Eatery

Restauranteurs Detail What’s Next for Quan Hapa

CINCINNATI (July 7, 2026) – A longtime fixture in OTR for more than a decade, Lang Thang Group recently announced plans for a complete rebrand and relocation of modern Asian eatery Quan Hapa. The restaurant, which first opened in 2012 in a 1,100-square-foot storefront at 1331 Vine Street, has signed a lease for the space at 1135 Vine Street — a 3,253-square-foot space leased from Cincinnati Center City Development Corp. (3CDC) just a short walk away.

Quan Hapa will open its doors for the final time on Sunday, July 26, serving patrons from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Following the closure, they will shift their attention to the new location, with the buildout estimated to take several months.

“While we originally began looking for a larger space to expand Quan Hapa’s menu, the process ultimately led us in a different direction,” said Bao Nguyen, Partner at Lang Thang Group. “As we began to develop new dishes, it became clear that the real opportunity was to lean into Vietnamese cuisine – food that I’ve grown up eating and cooking my entire life – which ultimately led us to totally rebrand. Many of the dishes on the new menu are recipes I’ve been developing because they’re foods I’ve always wanted to share and, honestly, wanted to eat myself. I’m excited to bring these dishes to Cincinnati and introduce guests to more of the Vietnamese cuisine I grew up with and learned to make along the way.”

The rebranded restaurant, a full-service Vietnamese kitchen & bar called Yô Đi, will feature a variety of unique menu items in a casual setting – one that feels approachable enough for a quick weeknight meal while also being a place where patrons can gather for a night out. While “Yô Đi!” literally means “Go In!” it is commonly used as “Let’s go!” The name reflects an invitation to gather, celebrate, and share a meal together. The phrase is also part of one of Vietnam’s most recognizable drinking cheers, where someone calls out, “Một, hai, ba, Yô!” (“One, two, three, cheers!”), and everyone responds, “Yô Đi!” as an enthusiastic invitation to raise a glass together.

“The name felt especially fitting because the restaurant sits at one of the main gateways between Downtown and OTR,” Nguyen shared. “In that sense, ‘Yô Đi!’ is also an invitation to come into OTR and experience everything the neighborhood has to offer. With so many exciting restaurants, businesses, and projects opening and evolving, we’re excited to be part of the neighborhood’s next chapter.”

At Yô Đi, patrons will have many dishes to choose from, ranging from noodles, noodle soups, and banh mi to mains like Suon Cay Nuong – a dish of lemongrass pork ribs with pickled vegetables and steamed rice – and Portobello Bit Tet – a marinated portobello with garlic, shallots, soy sauce, oyster-style sauce, jasmine rice, and seasonal vegetables. Yô Đi’s menu will also feature desserts such as Vietnamese Coffee Tiramisu and Pandan Crème Brûlée, alongside a selection of hot and cold coffee beverages by Lang Thang Coffee Co. These drinks will be served from a dedicated coffee area, giving the team a space to highlight and showcase that side of the business.

“The 12th and Vine intersection is a defining corner for OTR, so we were intentional about selecting the right operator for this location,” said Christy Samad, EVP of Civic & Commercial Space Activation for 3CDC. “We couldn’t be more excited to welcome the Lang Thang Group as they’ve been a cornerstone of this neighborhood for years and it’s fitting to see them deepen their presence at such a prominent spot. The new space is nearly three times the size of their original location, opening the door for Yô Đi to grow its vision — serving more guests, hosting larger groups, and ultimately thinking bigger than ever before.”
