Columbus Boutique Finds New Home in Over-the-Rhine
Hinoki Plans Grand Opening of Joyfully Curated Clothing, Home, and Gift Shop
CINCINNATI (May 21, 2026) – Originally opened in Columbus, Ohio, three years ago, Hinoki Boutique has officially relocated to Over‑the‑Rhine (OTR). Owner Amy Fisher has signed a lease for an 1,800‑square‑foot storefront at 1326 Vine Street, owned by Cincinnati Center City Development Corp. (3CDC).
With a focus on curating timeless, beautifully made pieces, Hinoki is designed to help clients feel confident, seen, and true to themselves. Rooted in values of empathy, intentionality, and creativity, the brand prioritizes sustainability, ethical sourcing, and thoughtful design, with Fisher aiming to create a shopping experience that feels warm and genuinely personal. She also strives to carry products made with natural materials, supporting minority- and women-owned businesses whenever possible.
A Cincinnati native, Fisher was looking to be closer to home, inspiring the boutique’s relocation. The commute to Columbus from her corporate graphic design job downtown ultimately became unsustainable.
“When I started thinking about bringing Hinoki to Cincinnati, finding the right space was essential,” Fisher said. “The Vine Street location immediately stood out, and its size — nearly triple our Columbus storefront — has allowed me to grow the collection and create an environment where clients can truly experience the boutique.”
Beyond expanding the product assortment, Fisher envisions the larger space as a hub for workshops, pop‑ups, and community‑driven events like yoga, Pilates, and jewelry making. Looking ahead, she also hopes to welcome local artists into the space to display and sell their work.
“Hinoki’s new storefront is one of our larger retail spaces, so our leasing team was very intentional about identifying a concept that could fully activate the space — one that would draw customers in and bring added energy and vibrancy to the Vine Street shopping district,” said Christy Samad, EVP of Civic and Commercial Space Activations for 3CDC. “Hinoki enhances the surrounding business mix and strengthens OTR as an all‑day destination for shopping, dining, and beyond.”
Hinoki will host a soft opening this weekend, offering limited hours Saturday through Monday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Next weekend, the boutique will host its official grand opening, set to take place Friday, May 29, through Sunday, May 31, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. To celebrate, patrons will receive a gift with any purchase and can enjoy wine, champagne, or a cocktail while shopping. Following the grand opening, the boutique’s regular operating hours will be Wednesday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
