Affordable-Luxury Clothier Opening Saturday in OTR
E.V.R. Brings Casual Street & Office Wear to Liberty Street
CINCINNATI (August 6, 2026) – After nearly 20 years of owning and operating a similar business in Clifton, Cincinnati native Ray Trimm is set to celebrate the grand opening of E.V.R. (Exclusive, Vintage, Rare) this weekend. The new store is located at 128 W. Liberty Street in north Over-the-Rhine and occupies a space leased from Cincinnati Center City Development Corp. (3CDC). The 889-square-foot storefront is part of 3CDC’s Willkommen development – a mixed-use, mixed-income project that includes 16 renovated historic buildings and four newly constructed infill buildings across four sites throughout OTR.
Known for its blend of affordable luxury and timeless style, E.V.R. offers a carefully curated selection of men’s and women’s apparel and footwear. The boutique features a mix of established vintage and contemporary brands, including Original Penguin, K-Swiss, Fila, Clae, Pointer Footwear and The Quiet Life, creating a shopping experience that combines elevated streetwear, versatile office attire and unique everyday essentials. Additionally, E.V.R. offers a women’s couture for leather apparel and other imported fabrics and has developed its own private label, creating original footwear designs and custom cut-and-sew headwear.
“My passion for clothing started with my late brother, who founded the Hard Ta Knock Shoppe on Hopple Street,” said Trimm. “I initially began selling sneakers on eBay, but expanding into apparel felt like a meaningful way to honor his legacy. I love what I do, and opening a store in OTR’s growing retail district was the perfect opportunity to use my previous experience to grow my business.”
E.V.R. features a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere with clean, minimalist décor and neutral tones that allow the merchandise to take center stage. Alongside its curated selection of apparel and footwear, the boutique offers an array of accessories, including ballcaps, beanies, socks and jewelry, as well as vintage NBA and MLB jerseys that add a unique touch to its inventory.
“We’re encouraged to see OTR’s retail district continue to expand north of Liberty Street with a growing mix of businesses and experiences,” said Christy Samad, EVP of Civic & Commercial Space Activation for 3CDC. “Since 3CDC began focusing its redevelopment efforts in north OTR, the area has welcomed an array of restaurants, boutiques and specialty retailers. E.V.R. is another great addition, complementing both Findlay Market and the neighborhood’s existing businesses while adding to the unique mix of offerings that make this district a destination. We’re excited to see the neighborhood continue to evolve alongside the forthcoming Findlay Community Hub.”
E.V.R. will officially open its doors to the public on Saturday at 12 p.m. Following the grand opening, the store will be open Wednesday thru Sunday from 12 – 6 p.m. To learn more about E.V.R., follow along at https://www.instagram.com/evrbrand/.
