Neon City Productions Opens Flagship Studio on Race Street

Cincinnati-Based Music Label Sets the Stage in OTR

CINCINNATI (October 29, 2025) – Neon City Productions, a dynamic music label and creative space built to uplift and empower artists, has officially opened its doors at 1527-29 Race Street in Cincinnati Center City Development Corp. (3CDC)’s Abington Race & Pleasant development. With a mission to foster creativity, collaboration, and community, the label’s new studio space will serve as a hub for emerging talent, offering resources and support to help artists thrive in today’s evolving music landscape.

Founded in 2023 by co-owners Ditanyin and Embry Trammell, alongside business partners Alex Challis and Jacob Keaton, Neon City Productions has quickly established itself as a full-service record label and creative studio committed to supporting artists across multiple disciplines. Located in the heart of Over-the-Rhine (OTR), the newly opened storefront features state-of-the-art recording and photography studios, a dedicated podcasting area, and versatile production facilities – all of which are rentable by the hour. In addition to private studio sessions, Neon City also offers studio vocal engineering services, mixing & mastering services, and professional event production & hosting services — making Neon City a flexible hub for creative expression and community engagement.

Neon City Productions has partnered with the Contemporary Arts Center (CAC), produced a wide range of community events across the tri-state region, and collaborated with notable local artists and producers including G.T.S. Kash, Rod Day, and 2Phace Capone. Driven by a deep commitment to supporting local talent and building strong relationships with Cincinnati’s arts organizations, Trammell was inspired to find a permanent home for Neon City in the downtown area.

“We were very intentional about choosing a location close to Washington Park,” Trammell said. “It’s one of Cincinnati’s most iconic outdoor entertainment spaces, with a steady lineup of live music and cultural events. The Race Street spot is roughly a block away, which felt like the perfect fit. The energy of an urban neighborhood like OTR really aligns with our creative vision, so setting up here was a natural choice.”

Neon City Productions currently represents four signed artists and employs two dedicated Artist & Repertoire (A&R) Representatives who actively scout emerging musical talent for the label. Once an artist joins the roster, the A&R team plays a pivotal role in guiding their creative and commercial growth — serving as a vital link between the artist and the label to ensure their vision is nurtured and their career is strategically developed.
