November 2025 Updates

CINCINNATI CONVENTION CENTER

This month marked a significant step forward in the ongoing transformation of the Convention District with the official opening of Elm Street Plaza. The plaza opened to the public on November 21 with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, followed by the Ice Rink Grand Opening the next day, bringing new energy and activity to the district.

At the convention center, progress continued inside and out. Installation of aluminum composite material panels advanced along Sixth Street, and all LED-illuminated letters for the upgraded Cincinnati sign were installed. Inside the facility, drywall finishing progressed throughout the building, while crews continued laying new carpet, began placing new artwork, and installed new kitchen equipment and wayfinding signage.

At the Convention Center Garage, crews continued work on the new elevator tower, pouring concrete walls and floors in sections. Interior repair and restoration work remained ongoing, including electrical upgrades, painting, and structural improvements. PAYCOR HEADQUARTERS

Over the past month, major milestones were reached at Paycor Headquarters as the first tenant officially opened its doors. Salazar welcomed the public to its new 7,300-square-foot space, offering expanded seating, three private dining rooms, and room for private events. Inside Paycor’s second-floor office space, crews assembled and installed furniture, and the space received its Certificate of Occupancy. On the first floor, crews painted and installed finishes in Flight Club, a new social darts venue and restaurant, with final inspections scheduled and the space expected to open next month. FINDLAY COMMUNITY CENTER

Construction activity continued steadily this month at the Findlay Community Center, with foundation work and masonry wall construction advancing across the site. The slab-on-grade—a concrete foundation poured directly onto the ground—for the gym and locker room areas was completed, and crews are expected to move on to the roller rink slab next month. Masonry walls remained a major focus: work in the pool area was nearly finished, while crews continued progress in the gym and will soon begin in the locker room area. Waterproofing and damp-proofing along the Vine Street foundation walls wrapped up this month, and teams continued working on the remaining perimeter areas. Underground utility work, including plumbing and electrical systems, also progressed throughout the site. CROSSROAD HEALTH CENTER

At Crossroad Health Center, construction continued to move forward both on-site and inside the 1715 Republic Street building. Concrete placement for the Race Street driveway progressed this month, and all slab removals across the site were completed. Sidewalk concrete work kicked off, and crews began installing the second storm detention system. Inside 1715 Republic, all first-floor concrete work was completed, framing was finished, and plumbing and electrical rough-ins continued to progress. Drywall installation began, and canopy footer installation was underway. On the second floor, framing, insulation, door frames, and all MEP rough-ins—including HVAC—were completed, with drywall work actively progressing. At the roof level, all improvements were finished, including new TPO roofing and roof curb replacements. Crews also began interior stair repairs within the historic clock tower.
