March 2025 Updates

CINCINNATI CONVENTION CENTER

Earlier this month, 3CDC, Visit Cincy, the City of Cincinnati, and the construction management team welcomed a group from the Ohio Department of Development, including Director Lydia Mihalik, along with members of the media, to tour the project site for the convention center and see the transformative construction progress firsthand. The site tour highlighted the significant work already completed to modernize and enhance the existing convention center structure as well as the new amenities, including the rooftop terrace and Elm Street Plaza.

Construction crews continue making steady progress on the convention center’s interior and exterior construction, with much of the work focusing on the Fifth Street building façade, where crews are continuing framing work and installing the first-floor storefront. On the building’s interior, crews are currently painting walls and ceilings in the exhibit halls. At Elm Street Plaza, a concrete sub-base was poured for the plaza’s new pavers. PAYCOR HEADQUARTERS

This month, progress on the Paycor Headquarters mixed-use redevelopment and its future impact on the urban core were on full display as 3CDC and the construction team welcomed groups from both the Ohio Department of Development, the City of Cincinnati, and CREW Greater Cincinnati to tour the site. Among the tour highlights were the latest additions to the new building façade, including custom-made terracotta tile accents, which the crew installed recently. Underground site work is nearing completion, and crews have started pouring concrete for new sidewalks and the southeast plaza, which will be Paycor’s future office entrance.
