December 2016 Project Update

15TH & VINE

TriVersity Construction has begun initial work on the new office building at the corner of 15th and Vine streets. The project will preserve four historic structures by combining them with a 55,000-square-foot, new construction office building with first-floor retail space. Preliminary work includes clean-out and stabilization of the historic structures, as well as exploratory underground work.

ZIEGLER PARK

At Ziegler Park, crews are making good progress on construction of the new underground parking garage, pool area and pool itself. The upper-level deck of the garage is now complete and the roof-level deck is nearing completion, as well. In the pool area, construction of the equipment and services buildings, as well as the pool itself will continue for the next couple months. MUSIC HALL

MEMORIAL HALL

Construction concluded at Memorial Hall and the building was officially reopened to the public following a ribbon-cutting ceremony earlier this month. Event programming in the 3CDC-managed space is well underway, and the Hall is available to rent for private events. EMPOWER MEDIAMARKETING

Construction of the new home of Empower MediaMarketing has continued to progress nicely over the course of the past month. Steel erection and detailing has continued on the back half of the site, with the first two levels now complete. The interior demolition in the basement of the historic Hukon Building has been completed and steel is set to be erected inside the structure during the first week of January.

THE ALLISON

The Allison, which was previously known as Race Street Condos, is nearing completion. As of this month, kitchen cabinets and trim continue to be installed and the installation of hardwood floors is now complete. Currently, crews are putting a final coat of paint on the walls inside each unit.

4TH & RACE

Demolition of the former Pogue’s Garage has continued level-by-level. Demo work will continue until February and is about 75% complete at this time. Work at Saks Fifth Avenue and Mabley Place is complete for now, but will resume in the next couple months.
