Project Cost: $8.3 million

Office/Commercial Space: 32,750 SF

The Saengerhalle project includes the complete renovation of three attached historic structures and a new construction addition to create an office building and restaurant space at the northeast corner of the Washington Park expansion. The development is being undertaken by a partnership comprised of 3CDC and the Northpointe Group. As part of the project both groups will relocate their offices to the building occupying nearly one-third of the leasable space. Before 3CDC purchased the building it was the site of significant criminal activity. Construction is underway and completion is anticipated by the end of 2010. Fifth Third Bank Community Development Corp. offered significant financial assistance by providing New Market Tax Credit and state and federal historic tax credit equity.
