The Belmain, at 1202 Main St., brings another LEED certified 'green' building to Over-the-Rhine. LEED certification is a nationally recognized benchmark for high-performance environmentally friendly buildings. Each of the 16 lofts has one bedroom and one bath and access to one dedicated parking spot and an indoor community bicycle room. The Belmain is tobacco free; no smoking is permitted in or around the building. Residents will save on more than their gas and electric bills, LEED certified projects qualify for a 10 year tax abatement. The project was financed with $2.7 million from the Cincinnati New Market Fund I.
Park + Vine currently operates within Belmain. At this time, all available commercial space has been leased.
